Dutch oven recipes

Hello and does anyone here cook with a dutch oven? Anyone know where I can get the older style one with the cast in legs and the recessed lid? I make a mean chili and cornbread in mine, just curious if anyone here has some good recipes.

I have a Lodge cast iron skillet; if I was in the market for a Dutch oven, I'd look to Lodge.

I used to cook with mine frequently..but have gotten lazy...(older..less patient)....seems like the only thing i will take time with is cooking steaks with charcoal....

Do a google search for cast iron cookware you will find more than you can shake a stick at.

Check out the BAY....they always have cast iron cookware and some that is very well seasoned.

Another would be Flea markets and thrift stores. I've seen lot of Cast Iron cookware there for sale. Seems like the new generation sell off what their parents had, to get some silverstone, teflon or other type of cookware.

I still use mine large lodge cast iron dutch oven year round....even outside in the winter time on a wood and coal fire.
