Good evening bitogers

Off a friends 2017 Chevy Tahoe that had this filter and Service Pro 0w20 oil for 4,xxx miles. Torn as we can all see and have not seen any of these filters torn before. Put a Auto Extra 618-10255 back on along with PP 0W20 he supplied.

Who makes this one?
Kinda looks like a Frampion (kind of like the Carquest Red from 3-4 years ago), or a Wix???

edit, Well, a coil spring means not a Frampion, so Wix or some made in China filter?

LOL, I made my edit to add the made in China option and you posted this.

So probably one of several China manufacturers, which is odd since usually the MIC filters are decent and not common to see tears in them.

Yeah, I have cut these and Eco Guards and Parts plus filters open and none I have saw tore so.....

I think these may be distributed by Reladyne-they sell the DuraMax oil to a lot of c-stores around here, the company is based here in Cincinnati. Not sure who is making filters for them, but that one was pretty bad.

For only 4K that filter is horrible. I wonder what filter media they are using? Obviously inferior.
