Duralube 'Sludge Away' engine cleaner

For those of you who like MMO/Seafoam/Rislone-style engine cleaners, Duralube has entered the fray with an engine cleaning product, 'Sludge Away':

I've seen this for sale at my local CT store, and it's not that cheap - like $23 a bottle (quart).

What say you?

I think I would use MMO as an engine flush. Maybe run a half a quart to a quart for 500 miles.

I've seen this at Big Lots for about $7 a bottle.

AddyGuy lives in Canada, almost everything is more expensive. Addy, I would stick w/ MMO. It is way cheaper and been around since Columbus came to NA.

Seafoam is, though.

Holy!?!? Seafoam but no MMO!! That is a bummer, I just think this product is your regular mix of AN's for cleaning. I would go with a LubeGard product.

I was always a fan of using Gunk in every other oil change, but haven't seen it for awhile and I see no mention of it at their website.

I agree with the LubeGard recommendation, if he can get access to their products.

if its not real thick like lucas or regular duralube id try it. ill check big lots

Considering the price compared to other alternatives, I wouldn't touch it personally.

The instructions just remind me about MMO, may be it's MMO with new bottle

BTW, if MMO cheaper, I will just get MMO

On a slightly dirty motor... if if there's a litle varnish in it, the Gunk was always a nice touch... I have found it on shelves ok, but my fav store had just one "CAN" left... yeah.. the can that you need a spout for. Old old old school. I'm used to the plastic bottles. I bought the can and used it anyway... Worked OK.

I've seen it on the interwebz for sale... but it isn't on their site anymore.
