It's interesting watching other drivers and passengers.

Other drivers will make eye contact with another driver.

But female passengers that are in a car that is doing the passing will look at the other driver right up to where he can look back, then she will swiftly move her hear back straight so she don't get caught looking!

Have you noticed that? Have you noticed other behaviors?

There isn't much difference in our mental processing between trying to recognize a foe or intruder on our caveman turf, or viewing another stranger on our car's immediate area.

Women are already in a semi state of security as a passenger, and do not wish to instigate , or make waves.

Not me! I have just noticed it in split second glances. I do not talk on a cell phone when I drive either. No way. It can wait. I am the one who shakes his head when people are texting, talking on the phone or stupidly putting on their lipstick, etc.

When I was driving for a living I would sometimes take on an expression that was not unlike I was ...hmmmm.. well, terrorized would probably cover it. Oncoming drivers would catch a brief glimpse of me in that state ..and turn back to looking straight ahead. They just didn't know how to handle that first thing in the morning.

(think of Airplane when they announced "assume your crash positions"
