I am attempting to fix a leak in the front yard drip irragation that waters 5 Japanese Maples.
I don't know anything about this...

The main hose goes into a T that feeds the 2 lines out to the yard.
I need to replace that main hose. Can I get it out if the T and push the new hose one in?
I'm pretty sure I will just cut and replace as I go...

Thanks from the clueless wannabe landscaper.

Clean them so that there is no dirt where they need to seal and leave them exposed for a while. See if they leak and if they do leak, does it really matter as long as they don't come apart? It is a drip irrigation system.....

There are two kinds of fittings there and both are nominally reusable.

The tee has a sharp edge that bites into the OD of the tubing. To remove the tube, collapse a dent into the side of the tube inside the tee and roll it up then you can take it out.

The other fitting (pressure regulator?) is removed by unscrewing the nuts then pull the tube off of the barb. This type of fitting is less likely to leak and more easily reusable. If you buy another tee etc. look for one of this type.

If there is only one damaged spot in the line you could cut out the damaged part then install a coupler.

Thank you. The leak is at the inlet of the pressure regulator. I will replace from the hose bib to the T. I need the simple timer as well.
Again, I appreciate your guidance.
I can pull wrenches pretty well, but I have never worked on irrigation.
