Being of clairvoyant/paranormal variety, I have a few questions and please answer all.

1) Have you recently taken prescription medicines and what are they?

2) Any close relatives that you've associated with -- (elderly males) that are now deceased? How long ago deceased?

3) Can you describe the clothing this male wore? Was it "dated" clothing... like something from another era? Do you recall the various colors of his clothing?

4) How old are you?

Heck I never thought of it from that perspective.......

I guess that's possible?

I was thinking that, but didn't want to ask. Not exactly as specific as you though.

I was also thinking, are you sure you didn't have your pants on when you slept? Maybe you really were dreaming and remembered wrong about taking off the pants.

Not trying to make this 'trivial', but you are a young, healthy guy going throught lots of life changes - you've recently finished HS, been on a big plane trip, you're starting two jobs AND college soon....

You're under quite a bit of stress, even if you don't feel it - you're brain is just trying to 'sort stuff out' and make sense of it.

Chill dude, and really don't read too much into it. You're just fine!

Honestly thought that this thread was an old dug up one, until I checked the dates.

Long history of that disorder described as epilepsy that give the strongest feelings of deja vu.

Used to have a lot of intentional lucid dreams, which is way harder when there's other people in your life, as you can't duck off down that rabbit hole when you feel that the moment is there.

Now they are very random, and more vivid/less lucent.

Went 36 hours without sleep last week, and really felt close to the point that it would work, but too many important distractions.

Many many hag dreams, but one of the most amazing was when I was living in a dorm, had a hag dream, decided that the rest of my night was going to be coffee. As I walked down the passage of the dorm, an islander character started shrieking "No you cow get off me", and came out all bug eyed. We swapped stories, and same hag, two rooms apart...strange.

Never have dreamed in black and white

1) None

2) The only male in my family to recently pass away was 2 years ago, and I knew him only from the family reunion (unfortunately)

3) It wasn't very memorable, so probably modern stuff.

4) 18

Edit: Wait. I'm horrible. my godfather passed away from cancer 3, 4 years ago.

One scientist attributed many "alien visitations" to the exact phenomenon you described. While in bed, the people describe being visited by "someone", and are paralyzed to do anything about it.

When you did get up did you check all your doors and windows to make sure they were locked?

It this is true I have to agree, take it easy and don't dwell on it......

My parents were downstairs, noone could have gotten in the house without being noticed.

Had a few similar episodes a few years back. It was when I first moved to KC. I would dream I was back in my favorite town of Kirksville, MO a really cool college town. By practicing thinking of Kirksville during the falling asleep stage, I could control my dreams to some extent when dreams occured. I would dream of everything from riding my cycles to having sexual relations. Who knows what triggered this phase but it sure made you think of what the mind is capable of. Experts say we only use 10% of our mental capacity, and I sort of believe that. Lately I have had many episodes of seeing and predicting future events several minutes before they happen.

How old was your grandfather when he passed?

Was the age of the man you saw near your bed approximately 33 years old?

last week, I woke up in the middle of the night frightened. I was half awake/half asleep. I thought the bed was shaking when I awoke but I think I was the one shaking. I kept saying "oh God" "get out" but I don't know why. I went back to sleep. I knew it wasn't a dream because I turned on the light and went to sleep. When I woke up that morning, the light was on. The bed shaking thing I had that feeling a few months ago in the middle of the night but I thought I was dreaming and now I know it was real, or was it?

Godfather, not grandfather. And... Maybe, but definitely wasn't my godfather (great uncle). Maybe about that age... Why?

Board rules governing religion won't allow me to answer your question.

There are many-many variables that could resolve who that mystery bed bystander was. I will just name a few here.... hypothetically-speaking. Here's a for instance: This mystery male could be someone affiliated to your family -- even prior to your date of birth. I will lead with that thought and expand my search a little.

1) Grandmother / mother / older sister / aunt miscarriage
2) A tragic accident you either witnessed / created or have the ability to resolve.
3) Mystery bed-bystander once lived in your home

I could add a few more variables, but I choose to keep my posts shortened at all times here. You need to expand your mind in the next few days and do your own investigatory/detective work.

I will refrain from further replies here - mainly because 'religion' may be an entity in your expanded search / identifying your mystery person. You can reach me at [email protected] -- but only do so after your thread expires here. I do not want any of my future email exchanges with you to appear inside this thread.

Here's wishing you good luck either identifying (or reaching a compromise on) this mystery male bed-bystander.

(Note to moderators)
I request this thread be locked at some point in the very near future. Thanks in advance!

I was curious why you asked him about such a specific age of 33 since he didn't mention it anywhere, but now that you say it has to do with religion I think I know who you might be alluding to.

Too bad you can't elaborate it on here since you're coming from a very interesting perspective.

Why would *you* ask to lock this thread *in advance* ? I can understand if OP asked this thread to be locked but why would you?
