From my readings/surfing the web, my initial conclusion is that Dr. ColorChip and Touchup123 concept is great. However, it seems very dependent on type/size of chip/scratch, color of vehicle and skill/patience of the user to get a good job. For the time being, I am not going to try either one as they cast abut $40 each. Might try is less than $20. IMO, just not ready for most users.
I plan to use my BMW touchup paint, thinned and applied/built up with a very small artist brush and then "leveled" with my own DYI leveling system. Final polish/sealant and repair will look fairly well.
