Don't like No Fault Auto Insurance

I don’t believe that is how it works. If you are found 0% at fault I still think that it’s the at fault person whose insurance company pays for everyone’s repairs
We have been through this. Your own insurance company pays and then has to go to subrogation to collect from the at fault driver's ins co. Frequently they don't do it because of the hassle and expense involved.
The system where the at fault driver's ins co pays is the exact opposite of the no fault system.

The at fault driver had a rental car and that insurance company for the rental company is Chubb so I’m sure that my insurance company will want to pursue them to get their money. I can’t imagine a scenario where an insurance company would find it to be a hassle. They aren’t going to just leave money on the table like that. It’s worth the effort for them.

It's weird that you say this. I was watching a show called Canadas Worst Driver. People nominate family or friends for the show. I couldn't believe that on national television how many accidents some of these people had, yet still had a license. In the USA they'd have a revoked license. One lady from Newfoundland said she had a third part time job just to cover the expenses of hitting so many vehicles.
Revoking their license doesn't do much. Many just keep driving with no license and no insurance. I was hit by someone with no license and no insurance and when I looked him up in this database that shows his court cases, he had been cited for similar offenses prior to the accident. They had also combined the tickets they wrote for my case and a subsequent citation a few months later do driving with no license and speeding...

Here was a story I was thinking of from a few years ago where a Trooper died when hit by a drunk driver that had multiple DUI offenses and of course no license and still nothing happened to him:

The sad thing is in trying to find that particular story, a bunch of stories of Illinois State Troopers being hit or killed by drunk drivers popped up in the search so it took me a few minutes to find the particular story I was remembering.
