UD appears to be a for-profit company; do they charge Oxford for the software or donated computer cycles?

I am done with these clowns. I can't go a week w/o some kind of issue with UD. Either the UD can't upload, or the UD seems to lose the regristration on my PC, or the stats aren't up to date. I have also had a number of unexplained reboots as well. Each time the UD loses the regristration, and I register it again, it thinks it is a new PC and starts a new file. It now shows that I have 9 PCs going.

I was also more than a little annoyed that the sleep button is only for 5 minutes. There are times, such as when I am burning CDs, or playing a DVD, that I would like to stop the UD from running until I am done.

Hey Dock, I can't blame you for dropping them. I'm starting to get annoyed too, but I think I'll keep them for a while and see if it gets better. When I originally posted this thread, my experience was very good. Like I already said, it would be down only a couple timer per year, but lately, it been a regular thing. That’s too bad because they’re probably losing a lot of donators.
