Donaldson Filters

I mailed ordered 4 Donaldson P550008(equivalent Wix 51515,Motorcraft FL-1A) oil filters from Butler Machinery. The **** things were made in Mexico(not that I have any thing against Mexico)for the same price I could have bought Wix from my local parts store. I wonder if their endurance filters are made out of the country. Probably China next. I will not be putting these on my vehicle and sorry for contributing to the huge trade defecit. mikeyoilnutt

Form what I remember..most of what Donaldson builds for themselves of 3" and 3 1/2" diameter cans is built in Mexico. Or they are private labelled and made in the USA by Champion labs.
