Dogs using front yard to go in.

Buy a sign that reads NO DOGS ALLOWED. If the neighbor ignores it, call the local police. Some pit bull owners think their dogs never do anything wrong.

I'd just be glad he picks it up.

On his lawn a few feet from the house. So he walks fifteen feet off the sidewalk and [censored].

We got our first dog just last fall. Wife walks him daily, and always picks up his mess. The neighbors in our upper middle class neighborhood are all really nice, and very many (most) of them have dogs also, so very understanding.

I have a neighbor who use to do this. He's stopped now that his wife died. Don't know if there is any connection. He lives a 1/3 of a mile or more away and would bring his dog over in a golf cart. Small dog so no big deal. But I could not understand it.

But it's NOT his yard. Take the dogs back to his property and pick up the :poop: there.

The fact is, this idiot is trespassing on your private property. I would post a couple of signs that say, "NO TRESPASSING-this includes your animals". Then I would videotape him violating your posted request. Then I would have my attorney (or the city prosecutor if they will cooperate) send him a letter. If this doesn't work, keep turning whatever legal screws may be available to you.

[censored] they have to go somewhere
At least the guy picks it up
What are you complaining about?
Some don't
Sounds like he tries. Give him a thank you

I had an obnoxious neighbor a few years ago who would open her door and let her big dog out to do it's business wherever it wanted to. Another neighbor picked up a big pile from his lawn, put it in a brown paper bag, walked over to her front stoop, put it down and lit it on fire....she came out and stamped it out and got (her dog's) poop all over her shoes....we laughed a lot...

If it's a long leash, then it's probably a retractable leash.
In that case, the owner should keep the leash short enough, so the dog doesn't wander deep onto someone else's property.

My min Schnauzer poops on people's grass. But it's only a step or two off the sidewalk. It's nowhere near their front steps or door. I carry Kroger bags rolled into a clear plastic, fold-top sandwich bag. I take-along three of these with me and pick-up the poop.

I have this dog-walk thing down to a science. My dog only gets fed dog food that produces hard / semi-hard poop, that doesn't leave sloppy traces behind.

Some "dog owners" think their dogs never do anything wrong.

Don't be ignorant.

This is what slays me. Keep your [censored] dog off my property! You do NOT have any right to bring your dogs down to my property to relieve themselves. Have them [censored] on your own [censored] yard.

This is what slays me. The same guy that complains about me picking up dog poop, even thou both of my feet still remain on the public sidewalk while bending over to clean, is the same guy notorious for littering, spitting and flicking cigarette butts on my grass.

Do this [censored] on your property and keep your debris off mine.
BTW.... there is a dog easment in connection to our walks. It is inhumane to leash a dog right next to the side of our foot, The dog is allowed a few feet to walk in front, back or the side of us.

Don't believe me?....... it's already been court-tested in many municipalities. Its past-practice standing and no cop will ticket me for having my dog poop on your grass, right near the sidewalk.

That dog is allowed a couple feet to roam, outside of my immediate body area.

Get your facts straight bud!

Age 22 first house and me I had neighbor(renter) who let his dog poop on my lawn. I asked him to pickup and he refused denying it. I took care of it. He let the dog do it again.

I picked it up and my nutty roommate smeared it on his cars windshields (his girlfriends too maybe) with note please pickup stuck to it.

They moved the few next weeks!

My cat is trained to use a litter box.

I think the part you don't really get is that people don't want other people's pet to poop on their yard regardless of whether the law allows it or not. Whereas you may have a right to say mean and hurtful things to people, it's still not appreciated. Same with a dog pooping on someone else's yard. It's your dog, control your dog. Sometimes people like to sit on the grass or kids play in it, it's nice if there's no remnants of dog poop on it.

I have one neighbor whos dog runs around the neighborhood and chases people, barking and acting crazy. That dog has dookied in my front yard before and the owner acted inconvenienced when she picked up the dog's business.
I have another neighbor whos dog regularly whizzes in my yard. I have some front yard yellow spots, dead grass and now weeds have taken place of the grass that died. I try to fix it every season but with limited success.
A third neighbor has a dog that barks at everything all the time when it is let outside, and when their windows are open, the dog barks loud enough at anyone it sees to be able to hear it clear as day.

I just don't think about it anymore. It is annoying though when I step on my front porch and I'm on the telephone, and all the person on the other end hears is the neighbor's dog barking at me.

Most folks think their dogs are angels but they are really a way of sticking your middle finger up at society.
