I went to see Rogue One this evening. They played the following public service announcement aimed at dog owners before the previews. I thought it was very well done. Enjoy!

my neighborhood has enough dogs when it warms after winter we get a odor in the popular places from the decaying poop. This would not happen if they would pick it up and dispose of it.

It is fertilizer for the yard though. We do not have much top soil.

I pick my dogs poop up on walks. Why leave for the neighbor to step in. In my yard I let if decompose naturally.

I agree. Cats rule.

I heard a dog bit many many years ago about dogs living in downtown city apartments. They're cooped up all day long, when the owner comes home, they take the dog outside to do its dooty. When they're finished, the owner picks it up AND BRINGS IT BACK INSIDE. The dog must be thinking, "hey, this is crazy, I can save you all the effort".

It's not. Do a web search.

No kidding. The dog's area in the yard takes a beating over the winter, at least at my house.
