Does your automatic transmission shift hard during “WOT?” If so, please post the fluid you are using, the model number of your transmission (i.e. 4T65E), and the year/make/model of your car. Thanks.

Yep, but pretty normal for WOT. 2004 GMC Sierra. 4l60E transmission. 35K miles.

2005 Dodge Ram 545RFE It shifts kinda hard but it has something called Torque Managment that lowers the Torque output just before the shift then as soon as the shift is over it goes back to 100%.

Mine does it when I am downshifting while at WOT climbing a steep hill. Upshifts during WOT are smoother.

I have a 92 Daytona 2.5L with an A413 Transmission with ATF+3. I have a lockup torque converter as well.

No. My 2.5 farm-all 4 banger (jeep) merely slows down. Kickdown is VISO (violent in sound only) as the long stroker strains at speeds over 3000 rpm.

30RH trans (aka 904/999/909) +4 spec'd fluid.

Mine is a bit violent on WOT but that maybe only due to the turbo action involved. It's a great transmission (Aisin 50-42LE 4 speed auto)
