Does this massive scratch look fresh? My mom sent me this picture when she got home from Walmart putting 2 new tires on and this is one of the ones that got replaced. I don't recall seeing this scratch last time I saw the car in January.

Looks fresh to me. A curb jumped right at that wheel. Can happen at tire shops, especially if they use street parking or parking alongside a lot's edge. Always take Before pictures and show them when they write the work order.

Thanks folks. A friend and I were talking about it too and we came to a concensus that it was curb rash as well, especially with the direction of the scratches.
