Does this look like a sticking caliper?

I don’t have any symptoms of a sticking caliper other than the typical Advics brake pad “rubbing” sensation in the brake pedal (that is very intermittent) at the front left wheel, which only occurs sometimes while coming to a stop light. The picture attached is of my driver-side rear wheel. The other 3 rotors are fine but this one has faint grooves in it.. The brakes were done about 2500 miles ago with Advics Premium pads, Centric CTEK rotors, and OEM Toyota hardware.

I can feel the grooves with my fingers but they’re not deep. Thoughts?

Better look at the pads' thickness on that wheel. What you're looking for is unequal pad thicknesses when compared to those at the other side of the car. A sticking caliper often will not let the pad retract fully after braking. This will wear down the pad rather quickly.

I’m going to check today. Thanks!

When I thought I had a sticking caliper I used one of those laser pointer thermometers and pointed it at the area after driving and compared it to the other side. The side that was really hot was the side with the sticking caliper.
I did the same as you and there was only a difference of +/- 5 degrees from both sides of the rear. I assume the difference in temp is normal added with the fact that I was inspecting one wheel for a couple of minutes, which allowed the other side to cool down.

My difference was a lot more then that. I was easily able to walk back and fourth a few times to compare both sides and see a difference. You might want to see if your caliper still slides.

I bought CRC Sta-Lube for the hardware and I also spent an extra $20 and bought the Toyota pink grease to see if this will remedy the intermittent issue. I used Syl-Glyde last time on everything and maybe the castor oil is done for
