I saw a documentary about that in the early-mid 80s. Wish I could remember what it was. It was awesome!

I don't know about psychologists being scientists.
I do know that they should stay away from quantum mechanics, since they totally bungled the notion of quantum uncertainty in the macroscopic realm. They also should realize that they are bordering on the pseudoscientific world of quantum mysticism.
As for the "Quantum Soul Theory," when they design an experiment to test it, they can call it a theory. Until then, it's not much more than a belief or a hunch. I have no problem with beliefs or hunches; I have them myself. But, they're not theories.

As a living being that is self-aware of our eminent demise, of course we hope that we have a 'soul' and that there is something after death. I believe its based on fear and faith and not fact, though.
Seeing as these articles are 1-2 years old, has the theory been tested and proven yet?
I'm guessing there would be more recent articles if that were true.
