Does techron reduce octane rating?

I noticed with my old 1999 dodge beater 5.2L that holding it on the floor I was getting some pinging above 4,000rpm in 3rd gear. Through 1st and second at wide open throttle I didn't hear it.
Hadn't noticed that happening before.
Always get regular gas from the same ethanol free place.
Only difference was I dumped in a bottle of techron fuel system cleaner for that tank of gas, between 2 and 3 weeks ago.
I filled up today, added 12 gallons to the 22 gallon tank and only drove 3 miles home, didn't try running it hard.
If techron reduces the octane rating I can just fill up with premium gas when I dump in the techron.

When I had my Cadillac Cimarron it didn't ping if Techron was in the tank but otherwise could.

That era dodge was good at burning oil in the top end, causing pinging.

There are some studies showing that at high doses, PEA cleans combustion chambers and reduces knock, while at lower doses, it can increase combustion chamber deposits and cause more knock.

I datalogged knock events after using a PEA cleaner and it seemed like this was the case for my engine. I wrote about it in this thread.

Superb.
So it's absolutely 100% possible.
So I'll run PEA cleaners at less than a full tank, say 3/4 to half in the case of my dodge and I'll run the tank of cleaner till the fuel light comes on to make sure it's pretty much all gone when I refill.

Maybe run it down to a 1/4 tank, dump in the PEA, add several gallons of premium to hopefully boost octane, stir it up and bring me to around half full.
Premium is a dollar more gallon.
I'll bring the lawn mower gas can to catch that first 1 to 2 gallons of "premium gas" that flows out the shared nozzel.
As I've confirmed the dodge runs a rudimentary no return fuel system when I dropped the tank to replace the fuel pump earlier this year. So mixing is a good idea and adding premium gas is also probably a good idea.
