Does synthetic clean better than conventional

You're not going to be able to feel that even if that was the case. I freed up a SEIZED 53 Bel Air, and once it was unseized it was unseized.

Your rings are not sticking in your modern high tolerance engine. They just aren't.

Calcium isn't the only thing that cleans.
Don't focus on it alone.
Almost any oil changed on short intervals, like 3K, will show dramatic cleaning in a dirty engine.
Some have reported very good results with Kreen and also MMO.
Varnish is another matter and is probably harmless but seems to be very difficult to remove.
Do you have a sludged engine in need of cleaning?
Most engines stay clean with no more than regular oil changes, unless they are burdened with a bad pcv valve or coolant leaking into the oil.

Just look how pennzoil touts their oil line. As you go up from Pennzoil conventional to PU, they tout better cleaning.

That was not always the case. Look at the "cleaning" marketing statements on the back of the bottles for a while PP only cleaned up to 32% of sludge during the first oil change. Pennzoil Conventional is claimed to clean up to 40% of sludge on the first oil change.

Yeah I do not know what the current PP state what their current "cleaning" capabilities are because quite frankly I have not bothered to look at the back of their bottles.

Yep. ArcoGraphite. He has himself convinced that mos2 plugged a brand new oil filter and almost killed his engine. If that filter was plugged it would go into by-pass,simple.
He's got various blown up vehicles that all seem to die and its the fault of a lubricant or something completely absurd like that.
The simple fact that he's convinced mos2 is even capable of plugging a new oil filter is a very good example of just how well his gears are turning therefore his opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

As far as oil change increasing a cars pep it's certainly possible and I've proven as much going to a 20 grade oil in an 88 mustang 5.0.

Arco has some weird tales to tell.
Arco has had more problems with any one car in his brief periods of ownership than I've had with every car I've ever owned combined over the past thirty five years.
Maybe it isn't the cars?
