I believe it says on the bottle that the 5w20 oil meets all specs required, but no specific mention of ms-6395

MS-6395 is a weak spec, and SN oil will work.

According to this thread from 2014, it "meets requirements" but is not officially approved. However, Super Tech oil comes from different manufacturers in different areas.

Personally, I would stick to an approved oil if you're under warranty. If you're not under warranty, any SN oil will be just fine.

First it meets the spec. Second the Chrysler spec is a recommendation and API SN is the requirement.

Most popular name brand 0w20, 5w20, and 5w30 oils, aside from Mobil 1, have the MS-6395 approval. If it's out of warranty, I wouldn't worry about it since there's nothing fancy about it.

M1 or Supertech won't kill a Chrysler product. Valvoline might, but that's a story for another day...
