That is arguably the best syn-blend that I'm aware of. Some folks look at Amsoil XL as a syn-blend also. I think the Amsoil is predominately group III. Maybe an Amsoil rep here can dot the I's and cross the T's on this.

Last I knew all of Schaeffer's 7000 series were blend of group III and group IV base oils. The only mention of a group II base oil is preceeded by severely hydrocracked, making it a group III oil.
