I hope so. It’s a great engine. Ive thought about getting a Ridgeline in the near future.And gained extra 100k miles of use of that engine.

I agree, Toyota comfort and interior design is one of the worst of all the cars I drove. They are resting on the fact they have a loyal repeat buyer base and don't do anything for comfort or add equipment that's not absolutely necessary, because it hurts their bottom line.
Heck, on the RAV4, they swapped the steering wheel and pedals on the left side of the car for RHD (compared to the Japan design for LHD), but they didn't bother to change the read door opening on the other side too.
I would still take that dated interior design instead of buying a Honda with CVT, engine riddled by VCM issues and... many more.
Same for Nissan CVT's.
