Does adding certain fuel additives foul your oil?

I got some free STP Water Remover (in the Yellow bottle) so I dunked a bottle in a half tank of gas (roughly 8 gallons in there) in the Hyundai. My wife hits the highway every day for 10 miles at 65 mph, and then back again. I know that fuel can get into the oil, and I'm planning on doing a UOA this spring with my Max Life Synthetic. Is that additive bound to show up in the oil? I'm pretty sure she burns off the fuel in the oil from driving highway every day.

Looks mostly like naptha, kero, basically petroleum distillates.

It won't make any difference. Even if it gets in your oil, it will be a small amount...and its likely to boil out and be sucked in through the PCV system, anyhow.

I think someone posted a paper by Chevron on here that showed techron treatments caused early thickening of an oil. That was the reason for recommending use right before changing the oil.

Shell also had it clearly stated on their V-Power fuel additive bottles to use right before changing the oil.

There is obviously some effects on the oil, but the severity of it is unknown, on here at least.

Then--wouldn't it be best to use it 2 tanks before an oil change----to make sure all of it has been consumed before the oc?
I am thinking they want to get you in the habit of using it, so an oc is the best reminder?
