Hello everyone I have a question on transfer case fluid for my 2011 Dodge Durango. It has AWD and the 5.7 hemi. The transfer case is a # MP 3023. The user manual says to use Mopar no 245/247 fluid. Other online manuals and articles say to use ATF+4. I put the nv 245 mopar lube in but the old fluid looked like ATF. Anyone done this fluid change before?

I have a 2014 Jeep GC with the same MP3023 transfer case and our used ATF+4. I have already change out my fluid with no issue using ATF+4.
Hmmm. I bought the expensive Mopar NV 245/247 fluid based on the user manual. You think it would hurt it ? Or should I go with the ATF+4. I hate to waste another $35 but it's pennies compared to a new t.case. If I can't trust the manual then WTH?

Ok thanks for the confirmation! ATF+4 is reasonably priced so 2 qts won't kill me. Live and learn. ðŸ‘
