Do you sometimes randomly pick up trash?

Ever since I can remember I have often felt the need to pick up trash others have left behind. It could be in the street near my house, in a store parking lot etc. It drives me nuts to see it. My kids used to get after me because I would and still do it.

I think the old commercial with the Indian crying affected me deeply.....

I've done it before, when I don't have to carry it far.

I can't resist picking up a screw or nail in a parking lot.

If it makes a significant difference I do, like the only few pieces of garbage at the park. Or after a kids event/sports, or someone drops something at work.

Yes. In the 60s and 70s they beat "pollution and litter are bad" into us at school. And today I see McD's bags and cups all over the place. Those I don't touch due to viruses and what not.

In a majopr city I literally so a low life open the passenger door and dump a bag of Mc'Ds onto the street.

And then these people complain the city is a dump. Straight to jail I say.

I just now spent 15 minutes picking up other peoples trash that the four winds deposit in my driveway.
Other people dumping trash both infuriates and saddens me.
I frequently see a fast food bag dumped in the gutter.
Makes me wonder about the people that do this, what does their house or yard look like?
Pigs! No disrespect to domestic swine or pig farmers.

Every week I pick up trash that the slobs driving by my house deposit on the roadside. From the looks of it we have a lot of people drinking and driving

Every day when we walk our dogs (twice). What's amazing is the local free paper/ad is tossed on driveways once a week and many people can't be bothered to pick it up. Just keep driving over it then when it rains it turns to mush on their driveway. In our HOA neighborhood there's never much but there's always something to pick up.

From my kitchen window I can see two city owned garbage/trash receptacles at the dog park across the street. Mine is the only house on my 1 block street but yes, I frequently pick up trash on my street.

I pick up packaged food off the floor in the grocery store. I have noticed that I'm the only person in the world that does that.

Just about every week I do a quarter mile of my road.
When on vacation I'll clean up the beach. I can't stand looking a garbage.

I do. More than trash, I regularly pick up aluminum cans and toss them in the next scrap run.

When I’m walking around in Niagara Falls I often pick up discarded drink containers that people leave on the walkway area. It’s sad how lazy people can get, when there are garbage cans everywhere there
