Do NASCAR teams really use Mobil 1?

At the Portland Grand Prix, I talked with a few team mechanics about this. In most motorsports, you go with what the manufacturer recommends in the application; most if not all of the big 3 will recommend M1 for racing, but there is some outliers in this due to sponsorship and sanctioning body rules. NASCAR in particular one tech said can be tricky in this regard...

I think M1 would make a special oil not for public use that works. They all do its just we dont get it in pcmo. Will have to be content with Klotz,Redline,Motul 300v and Ravenol I guess for me.
