Discount tire offers alignments now

Was at one this week and i over heard someone talking about it . So i had to check it out. Indeed some of them do offer alignment now. Anyone have experience with it?

Thanks for posting this @CarLuver. This was posted before, but I forgot about it. A search in the link you provided identified DT offering the alignment near me.

I especially like this as DT doesn't perform mechanical work, so they will be impartial and likely the latest alignment technology machine.

I always call and see if the place uses a Hunter alignment machine. From my automotive experience they are the top tier brand. They're 30 grand to purchase.

The DT shop near me does not align Mercedes. Good thing about their program is they put your car on the machine and tell you if you need an alignment at no charge.

Yes, they do but they DO not replace worn parts, if they find something worn you need to take it someplace else get it fixed then bring it back, it's a joke.

They couldn't even break loose a simple adjuster nut on my impala

They do tire rotation, tire balance and wheel aliment checks for free no appointment needed, not sure on warranty

If you think about it, it's in the tire store's best interest to have your car out of alignment. They sell more tires that way.

I would never in a million years take my car to a tire store for alignment.

Well if you change camber, caster, and toe they have to. Do you mean like seized part? Or they can't break loose a fastener to adjust one of the angles?

Yes I saw them offering alignments about a week ago. I was shopping tires and have not bought from Discount for many years. But may get some tires from them and an alignment.

Looked up their site. None of the stores in my area offer alignments. Seems counter productive with all our potholes and terrible drivers knocking the alignment out every day..
