Disabled Fake Engine Sound

Here's a 1min video on the comparison. A switch is wired in to quickly switch it off or on (imo should be under a 'sport' mode than having the dealer disable it via software or unplugging a box.)

I would be ashamed to have a vehicle that generates fake engine noise.
People want some noise and good sound insulation. Unfortunately for us that’s the only way stock to do it without some crazy powertrain.

Even the Corvette ZO6 has augmented sound.

I'm a fake engine sound owner too. I drive a 2017 Chevy SS sedan with the 6.2 LS3 engine. When I first got it, I planned to remove the sound tube, but over time, I've actually grown to live with it. Unlike those high-pitched, smaller engines, this V8's sound isn't far from the real deal. It adds that classic 427ci rumble, which isn’t bad. My ultimate plan was to swap it out for an actual LS 427 but at my age, who knows? 🙄

If I ever own an EV with fake sound I'll be sure to make the sound it projects to be "6.0 PowerStroke diesel".
If they sell a kit that mimics the 1980’s MB turbodiesels I’d spend up to $5,000 for it. I find the diesel clatter to be not only soothing but nostalgic.
