Actually, Ford and GM have had very few problems with their DI engines....It's Audi, VW etc..., and some of the Japanese that have needed expensive intake valve cleanings.
Except for the horribly unreliable A/T in the latest gen Focus, Ford seems to be making very good vehicles.
