Thanks. It was certainly an experience. It shifts 150% better. And I almost gave up when it came to the clip until I discovered I was trying to push on the part of the clip that curved in (the middle of the "C" if that makes sense". After that it was a breeze. I had 1 foot of the 5/8 heater hose, and 5 feet of the clear vinyl connected with a 5/8" barb coupler. I actually had 2 quarts leftover since I saw the fluid was coming out very clear and pink. I saw no need to waste another 2 quarts since it looked good. Now I get to look forward to doing this again on my sister's Tahoe...

Edit: I took a picture of the pan and it was grimy. You can see where I swiped my finger next to the magnet.

The trick when dropping a transmission pan is to very strategically loosen the bolts in such a way as to direct and control the flow of used fluid. Be patient, very patient and you will not ruin another shirt :).

BTW, what is with the knee jerk Amsoil pitches some people feel they have to throw into threads?

Amsoil is also good for curing disease. Just rub it on the area around the tumor and .....SURPISE! a cure for cancer.

I think you have to catch them on the right day. I've been looking for ST DexVI for over a month and typically they only have a few bottles. A few days ago I went to Walmart and they had over 20 bottles. I think there are guys like me buying all they have when they come across it.

It also cost almost $10/quart. I too can supply you anything you need - just send a blank check and I'll get working on it.

I bought some Permatex Ultra Black to make the gasket on my differential. I'll be doing this tomorrow afternoon, but I was wondering if there were any guides on how to use it?
