It's for my '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L V8, can't fit a larger filter due to suspension clearance issues. I bought 2 Baldwin B34's a while back and I'm 95% sure it's the right one. But exactly what is the difference between the B34, the B163, and the B233. I noticed that the B34 in Baldwin's web site actually lists car manufacturers where as the B163 and the B233 mention construction equipment and certain vehicles. Also, is the 8psi bypass pressure suitable for my engine? It seems as if I was getting more cold startup noise with the Baldwin's than I was with the K&N's so I took the Baldwin off after 1500 miles and put on a K&N I had lying around.

Baldwin lists the B34 as being the correct filter.
The B163 is listed as a lube/transmission filter, while the other 2 are listed as just lube.
