Is it the same engine tuned differently?

I was expecting the turbo Civic to have much better 0-60 times.

That number looks to possibly be from the base engine.. Both Accord and Civic with 1.5t post mid 7 seconds to 60.

Here is Car and Driver results on a 22' which is the identical vehicle with 1.5t and 180hp... Jetta still beats this car all around being quicker and better mpg and cheaper and has an 8 speed.

I thought the base engine was only for the LX (now discontinued???) and the Sport.

The current EX gets the turbo. But I would expect both the Civic turbo models and the Accord would be in mid 7's as you mentioned.

If they had the Accord boost that little car would really move without getting into SI $$$.

In the Integra it puts out 200 hp and it scoots pretty well. Also has an unusually high amount of NVH, but in a good way, I don't mind it. Fuel economy in hot weather is abysmal, low 20's.
