I have two diesel fuels to choose from, first has 7% FAME and cetane number is 60. The other option is a diesel fuel, with no FAME and cetane number is 50. Which one would be better to use?

I’d use the regular diesel w/ CN of 50 and use a fuel additive on top because I always do. The B7 has higher CN but bio has lower BTUs and burns dirtier. If you want the lubricity from FAME and not deal with an additive. Ideal CN for modern diesels is 50-55.
