Diesel Fuel Line Question

I need to replace some cracked rubber fuel line on a John Deere diesel tractor. The OEM is Gates 4219G Fuel line/PCV/EEC SAE 30R7.

Is there anything special about this fuel line for diesel that I need to be concerned about when purchasing? Is it different than gasoline fuel line?

Thanks. This stuff is only 9 yrs. old and is brittle,cracking,and leaking. Odd. Not too many hours on the tractor. Line on our other, 5yr. older tractor looks fine.

Many diesel folks use standard rated fuel hose from the auto parts store without issue. What is the ID? Is it cloth wrapped?

I would think any line compatible with gasoline would work that's all we use what every is laying around the shop(gasoline compatible)

It probably doesn't need to be pressure rated. Trans line would do.
