Didn't prime new shocks... now what?

I thought about that but if you watch the video after it is manufactured they put it in a box and place it sideways on a shelf. I cant see what they could do differently because it has a spring on it.
Sachs, Bilstein, Koni, etc twin tube have no such instructions that I can ever remember seeing.

Could it be they are manipulated in the factory before install?

KYB can't even seem to get the washer orientation right, let alone put an OEM grade spring on their StrutPlus units. I seriously doubt they cycle the dampener before assembly.
