About a week ago, I ordered two 12 fl. oz. bottles of Auto-Rx from the Auto-Rx website. Correct me if I'm wrong but one bottle goes for $27.97 right?

Well, UPS showed up at my door, and I got two small boxes. I thought to myself, "Well, maybe they packaged one bottle in each of the boxes." So, I opened up one of the boxes, and there were two bottles of Auto-Rx in there as I ordered. So scratching my head, I opened up the other small box, and there were also another two bottles of Auto-Rx in there! Uh, so did I order two bottles of Auto-Rx for the price of $47.97 and received the other two for free lol?

The ethical thing to do is to tape up the box (put a note in it regarding what happened)...and return it to the sender. Write on the box "refused" and it will be returned without cost to you.

If you did that...it would show you have character and are an honest person...and would be an example to your wife and children (if you have any).

Especially since you announced it in public. Call them up and see what they want to do.

How did you pay for the order ? I suppose you paid with credit card, check your credit card to see how much they charged to your account. If they charged only $47.97 then you may want to contact them about the error.

I checked my account and my receipt. It says $47.94 which was done through my debit card. (I wrote earlier that it was $47.97, sorry that was a typo.) I'm going to call them tomorrow to see what they want me to do.

Four bottles of Auto-Rx cost almost $100 which I only order two.

They will tell you thanks and keep the bottles and tell others about our great product. I once got a package from Amsoil and it was charged to someones credit card...not mine. I called Amsoil and they said Oh! just send it back. I said ok send me a shipping authorization. They said no...go ahead and keep it.

You can email them. But, with all the promotions and marketing, don't be surprised if they gave you a couple bottles as a gift.

+1.

Interesting thread.

how much do you think it costs them to make? 27 bucks for a small bottle of anything but gold is robbery so dont feel bad in the least keeping it. its a recession... got to make ends meet lol

I would call them and tell them of the mistake, but I would not go 'out of my way' to return it (if they still want it back.)
A similar thing happened when I ordered a clutch, I asked them to send a pre-paid shipping label, so I could just leave it for pick up. I did not want to have to hang around for a courier, or pay.

I might also assume you somehow found your way onto Frank's Payola list

That would be the right thing to do, just be certain you were only charged for 2 bottles.

If you think ARx is expensive per volume try buying 12 ounces of semen from a good stud thoroughbred horse.

If BITOG folks thought that would clean engines, they'd pay for that too!
