ExxonMobil Launches First Synthetic Blend Motor Oils for High-Mileage Engines

New Mobil Drive Clean Plus is Designed to Clean and Protect Engines Better than Conventional Oils

FAIRFAX, Virginia (April 1, 2003) -- Owners of both higher-mileage and newer vehicles can drive with renewed confidence thanks to a new line of ExxonMobil synthetic-blend motor oils, formulated to help clean and restore performance of high-mileage engines and help prevent engine sludge build-up in new vehicles.

Why didn't this stuff last vey long? I do with that there was producion of synthetic and syn-blend for higher mileage vehicles.

The Mobil Drive Clean line was re-introduced as Clean 5000 & Clean 7500.

The Mobil Clean 7500 is still a synthetic blend.

Isn't every oil with any synthetic content, really a synthetic blend? Is there any synthetic oil that claims to be a GIV or GV, still just a blend, they all have GII+ or GIII.
