Dexron III as power steering fluid

Old fashioned Prestone power steering fluid has worked in systems calling out Dex III forever.

My 2000 Toyota Tundra calls for Dexron-III to be used as power steering fluid. However, Autozone doesn't have Dexron III. they do have Dexron VI, regular power steering fluid, and Prestone power steering fluid specifically formulated for Japanese vehicles. Which should I use?

They call it Dex/Merc now.

I use MaxLife ATF or Red Line D4 as PSF when it’s called for. Honda stuff for anything Honda or calling for generic PSF.

I’ve had great luck using both Mobil 1 ATF and Redline D4 in the Toyotas I repair. Done quite a few and seems to be a winning strategy. Both excellent Dexron III type fluids.
