Every Dexos-1 oil I have ever seen is always a SN and GF-5 oil too.

Which oil do you run that is not Dexos these days?

+1 I feel like most synthetic blends and fulls are either approved for or suitable.

Valvoline Maxlife (both full synthetic and blend) and Castrol Edge High Mileage (full synthetic) are Dexos1 approved. Maxlife seems to be universally agreed to be a good product capable of stipping/reducing leaks. The Edge HM is new, does anybody have experience with it?

Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage and Mobil 1 High Mileage appear to not be Dexos1 approved.

Mobil 1 High Mileage seems more interested in keeping the increased ZDDP levels than coming up to newer specifications. Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage does have the latest API SN, but not resource conserving so they probably not interested in getting Dexos1 approved. As time goes on, that could change for both of them.
