DEX COOL dilution question

hey guys,never owned a chevy and my brother asked if he should mix it 50/50 with distilled water? he as dex-cool and not the 50/50mix if there is one... thanks guys

Yes, 50/50 with distilled water. GM does say that drinkable water is safe to use, as the coolant is phosphate-free, but I'd still use distilled.
