Here's my latest used coolant analysis report.
Coolant is Detroit Diesel PowerCool Plus organic acid technology (OAT) extended life coolant out of my 1995 Prevost bus/MH with 1995 Detroit 12.7L 60 series. Coolant is 9 mths old with 6000 miles. Uses a blank filter. System holds 24ish gallons. Detroits freezing point spec is -24 to -44*F.
I normally use OAI for coolant analysis, but somehow I ended up with two Detroit kits, so I gave them a try. It took 6 wks
The sample eventually ends up at a ALS Tribology Lab, same as my Wix oil kits, but my oil results only take a week or two.
