I have a light duty Snap-On cordless 3/8 impact, case, charger & battery. There are 2 batteries but 1 doesn't hold a charge. Is picking a price to sell any more complicated than looking on eBay for similar condition tools & listing it at a similar price?

I'd find a few auctions and wait till they end to see what the final price was. Anybody can list anything for any price, also depending on how desperate they are to raise cash or whether the tools are stolen.

I'd at least armour-all them so they look shiny. Try to keep that off the stickers.

Are replacement batteries still available? If not, that could greatly reduce the value... with one pack dead, I'd be assuming the 2nd isn't far off from that.

As Dave9 says, you can't look at similar ones for sale, you have to look at SOLD ones. I can list an item for $4899 when everyone else has sold them for $100. Probably have to be logged in to see this properly:

A lot of sales were with no battery. I see one with (1) battery (same as you), charger, and tool sold for $80 + shipping.
