Denso radiator still good?

Denso First Time Fit are very good, especially if you have a Toyota, Honda, Mazda, ect. usually they are a primary OEM supplier for their new cars
so it is a no brainer to use them and the price is very reasonable for the extra quality and perfect fit, durability too.

About a year ago I put a Denso radiator in my FX45, which is an oddball vehicle to begin with. The Denso radiator seemed to be well built and the core was thicker than the OE radiator. The problem was that with the thicker core, there wasn't enough space between the condenser and the radiator. To give it clearance similar to stock I had to oval the lower mount holes a bit, I then glued the rubber mounts in the rearward position. It fit without the modification, but there would have been pressure on a couple of spots and there was not enough room for the OE foam.

Overall, I still would recommend the Denso. I suspect that for a vehicle with higher production numbers they probably would have the fit sorted better. I picked the Denso because I had heard of issues with the built in transmission oil cooler designs in some of the afternarket (and OEM) designs causing the obvious issues of mixing coolant and ATF, but also of flow rate differences affecting shift quality, which I didn't want to deal with.
