Will the Delvac 10W30 work in my truck in the non-winter months (min temperature -5C)? GM calls for 5W30 GM 6094M specd oil. I can get Delvac really inexpensively since we buy it in bulk at work, hence the question. Will the Delvac hurt the Cats?

Also will the Delvac work in my Honda 300? Honda calls for 10W30 Jaso T 903 MA. My Honda has a Cat.

I would run it in the pickup in warmer weather. It should work fine in the Honda, too.

How much oil are you burning? If it's a negligible amount, don't worry too much about the cats.

Yup ... From their site PDS.

Mobil Delvacâ„¢ 1300 Super 15W-40 and 10W-30 are .... universal, meaning they may also be used in gasoline engines requiring the API SN specification.

My truck does not burn much oil at all, about a litre over 9k kms/ 5500 miles, which is when the OLM is down to 10% and I change the oil.
