is the extra moly a benefit in the delo 400 over the rotella i have looked at the VOAs and seen whats there and that seems to be the main difference i can see any others that i might have missed. i am going to be adding this oil to my Ford 460 and an old toyota 2TZ-FE what would be the better choice Delo or Rotella?

yea flip a coin...i'd personally use Rotella but i dont have any reason to back it up other than i've used it in the past and it worked good for me...but i'm sure i would have had the same results with delo

I'd prefer rotella, but have had good luck with delo too. Have a military 2A016-powered generator that loves both delo and rotella. It's a piece of equipment that sits for years and then runs 3 days straight. It does consume rotella/delo, but the engine is sub-60 hours so not broken in yet.

I have an easier time finding rotella around here - wal-o-china mart, sams, maybe costco? Or was that delo at costco? Hmmmnnn...

If it was me -- I'd probably buy a jug of each and mix the 2.

well the delo has more moly and if i remember right that can lead to more ash and more exhaust deposits since this is going to be in my gas engines but is the amount enough to worry about i have seen the VOA of both and delo is much higher @ ±200ppm moly and rotella ± 2ppm moly.

i used info from Here
