Deleting undeletable email ads

How can I delete undeletable email ads and then block receiving more? Windows 11 and AOL email(Verizon). Just started getting them today. Can't delete them no matter what I try and block getting more. Super annoying

Download and use Brave browser. The ad blocking on this browser should keep you from having those pesky ads in the first place.

Get a good Ad Blocker App and get a junk email over at Google. Just let it stack up the they delete it in 30 days!

Thanks- have Brave for sometime now. I don't think it works for email. Does a great job otherwise

I think it's just AOL(Verizon) pushing me to buy their 5$/month ad free email option (which will not stop their sponsored ads)

Switch to something like proton mail.

Figured it out. Hover over the undeletable spam email. Click on "block element" from drop down menu and voila- gone. I think it was AOL (Verizon) trying to get me to buy the ad free paid version of their email (that still presents their sponsored ads)

That's only my opinion- but when I use Apple, I seem to avoid these issues

Too hard to do now. Email address would need to be changed and its in many many accounts and address books
