YET....you are almost always making your presence known in this non-oil section that is called off-topic!

Sorry man...but you don't really even follow your own beliefs/opinions.



And you somehow feel the compulsion (and you are NOT alone in that on here) to unceasingly espouse YOUR worldview/stance on everything NOT oil related, on an oil site. I wonder WHY?
(Which is REAL easy when you are in the MAJORITY camp, and most everyone else on here agrees with you, try it when YOU are the MINORITY and see how 'fun' it is.)


If it pleases 'your Highness', I will stay off of this section from now on, although I DO like the music thread.

Odd how a stranger on the internet feels they have my beliefs categorized and labeled so easily.

While it is true that I express my opinions in the off-topic section, I don't normally do so in the other forums on the board. You should also feel free to do so. I'm sorry if you are of the perception that the majority on this board are the opposite of your worldview. I certainly have had MANY people not agree with me on this board. So much so that at times...I take a breather and stay away for sometimes rather long periods. Maybe you should consider this as I am wondering if you are taking things a bit too seriously for an internet forum. These places are almost always aggravating for those with opinions to share....left or right.
As for thinking that because of my "worldview" as you call it, I don't know what it's like to be in the minority...you couldn't be more wrong. I live in the Seattle area for crying out loud. Do you know what the "worldview" is with the VAST majority of people I live amongst? It would probably be heaven for you...not so much for me. 90% of the people I work worth are of your "worldview"....so I really do know what it's like to be in the minority. You'll have to excuse me if here in the off-topic section I feel occasionally free to express my beliefs. Of course...while we may 100% be at exact polar opposites about our opinions...you should also do likewise.

I'm sorry you had to call me "your highness". I don't get it...but ok.

Actually I didn't see too much nastiness in that thread about the Paris attacks, so I'm not sure why it was deleted, except that someone went screaming to mommy and daddy that they didn't like what was being said.

It's a shame it has come to this, a few folks determined to keep
valid discussions from occurring because it doesn't meet their agenda, which is exactly what I think happened someone wanted this thread silenced for a certain agenda.

Well since political discussion is not allowed, I generally restrain myself and don't respond to antagonizing posts unless automotive in nature. When the delete button actually worked, I removed a few of my posts. Now I sometimes find myself typing out a reply and then just hitting the back button.

There seem to be a few members that love to stick a jab in denigrating the President in random threads for no apparent reason. And of course others that can't separate an issue from personal feelings and immediately turn it into something personal and go straight for the jugular.

Not to be a rear-end here...but honestly, people of my mindset (about 50% of the nation...give or take) feel that our nations leader takes jabs at us on nearly a daily basis. He's denigrated OUR beliefs without regard to the notion that he is supposed to represent ALL of us. Many of our citizens feel he's way off the mark doing that. So, when given an opportunity, jabs and heated slams will often be expressed.

Nothing new in that, is there? I recall when a previous American leader was at the helm...the attacks, lies, and hatred was actually quite rampant.

YES, I AM, as I do not totally agree 100% with EVERYTHING that "majority you live with every day" have as their "worldview", in fact, I may disagree with them even more than YOU do on certain topics/items, believe it or not.

You will have to excuse me on this one as when I hear someone holding anyone to a PURIST stance (whether it be ideology, race, religion, etc.), I immediately think of fascist Italy, and Nazi Germany, especially when it comes from the far right, which IS the ideology those two places held maniacally to in that era.

And YES, that DOES makes MY blood boil with all of the 'emotion' all of you hate so much and deem "weak and bleeding heart".
I AM 'allowed' since if it ever came down to that in THIS land, I would be affected DIRECTLY.

I see MUCH of Nazi Germany in the far right of this country, and I WILL react to that.
