Sorry if this seems negative, but what's the deal with people asking what motorcycles to buy or oil to use? If you can't even decide what kind of motorcycle to buy, you don't have enough experience to own one, you'll just become a statistic. Most bike riders learned to ride on whatever M/C was available and developed their tastes from experience. Same with oil: use some and develop your own experience and then ask questions. Trouble in America is too many wanabees, or followers and too few leaders and decision-makers. Just like our politicians: won't make a decision or a statement without consulting advisors. Opinions about what M/C to buy are like posteriors, everyone has one!!

So...if you are looking for a new motorcycle you shouldn't ask anyones opinion on which ones they like just go buy whatever is available?

sheesh

Again, opinions are like @$$holes, everyone has one! Do you ask people what type of toilet paper to buy too? There are so many motorcycles for so many types of riding, people write books about them. Jeezz

Yes, your post is negative.
Yes, some people like to ask questions so they become a more well informed buyer.

If was going to fork out between $5000 and $25,000 for it, you bet I would.

SOMEONE got up on the wrong side of the bed.

I think people should be allowed to talk about motorcycles. Sometimes a friend can share his experience with you, and then you can tell him what you think about things. You can even add more than two people. Everyone can share. One person can pick a topic and others can join in. If you have a get together you don't even have to print up an agenda. You can just freelance it and see where it takes you. You can even pick a number of topics, like Real Motorcycles, Harley's, engine oil, and why wearing helmets hurts the organ donor programs.

And be sure and take a blank signed check to pay for it. Just hand 'em the check.
