the MSL must be pretty good otherwise they wouldn't recommend it for the common rail 4D56....I wouldn't put it in the old single cam 4D56, it wouldn't stay in for a start. The Merc has done 300,000km on 10W40, it would love the 5W40....the Volvo T5 has done 200,000km on tar, I'll go for the 5W40 after I've run the Fuchs through it for 5,000km

Our local Hyundai dealer uses Cam2 syn blend. If they didn't know what they used I wouldn't go there. We plan on keeping this car for as long as we can.

I do all the Purchase Orders and see all the invoices for our bulk oil. For Ford we have under Motorcraft 0w20 blend, 5w20 blend and full synthetic, 15w40, and Mercon V. Ford Mazda we use either the Idemitsu 0w20 or Castrol 0W20 through Mazda depending on current promotions.
Anything else would be bottled.
