That's an asinine comment if ever there was one. Care to expand upon it and perhaps change my mind?Do not scratch the battery. Its totalled.

Eye opening to say the least.
I get the feeling people are getting very tired of being told what to do, example news out of Canada today that EVs will be mandated to 100% of new sales in 2035. With zero chance of being ready for it by then - infrastructure, product on the ground, or income to be able to afford them. That's what I thought. However, the situation with the Kia has little or nothing to do with the Cybertruck, so until I hear otherwise, I stand by my original statement.
Why you thought it is a joke? It is actually a joke!Wifey and I went to see one on display at the fancy pants Santana Row Tesla store. 4 years ago I thought Musk was playing a joke on society. This thing was butt ugly. Stupid. But seeing it pretty much changed my mind. While not for me, I believe this thing will sell. The reviews, if you believe them, have been good.View attachment 193679
Unfortunately the Muskrat seems to think that in an accident the giga cast section underneath being ripped off will suffice for "safety ". Engineers told musk four years ago that stainless steel isn't a good material for crash protection as it's springy and doesn't crumple. We shall see. My biggest gripe is why people are on board with this thing. Musk as usual overhyped and under delivered on the performance specs. People should quit encouraging this type of behavior by not buying.Wifey and I went to see one on display at the fancy pants Santana Row Tesla store. 4 years ago I thought Musk was playing a joke on society. It passes crash test requirements or it doesn't.Unfortunately the Muskrat seems to think that in an accident the giga cast section underneath being ripped off will suffice for "safety ". There is a mountain of evidence already about all makes of ev batteries sustaining minor damage and the vehicles being totaled. That's an asinine comment if ever there was one. Care to expand upon it and perhaps change my mind?
What exactly they will fallow? They might introduce something to get “keeping up with neighbors” crowd. At the same time, they will offer something with actual 4WD, two speed transfer case etc.We will see how the Cybertruck does in the market. Super controversial. And if recent history repeats, the other car companies will follow one way or another.
Only 10 employees received a cybertruck. From the info posted online they were pre-production test vehicles which is a slap in the face to the employees that received them.
You like BMW, right? What exactly they will fallow? They might introduce something to get “keeping up with neighbors” crowd. At the same time, they will offer something with actual 4WD, two speed transfer case etc.
This thing is not contraversial. There are two types of people here:
1. People who don’t have life, and this is pinnacle of their existence in this decade.
2. Everyone else that has to endure Musk’s ass flies that pop out every time any web site is opened.
How do other vehicles compare with the Cybertruck? Are they similar enough so that what takes place with a Kia, etc., will take place with the Cybertruck? There's no history with Musk's truck so how do we know what will happen? There is a mountain of evidence already about all makes of ev batteries sustaining minor damage and the vehicles being totaled.
Do some research, this vehicle uses a structural battery pack.
BMW still has, and bets on ICE portfolio. Considering today's events in Berlin, I highly doubt Europe will ban ICE before 2050, and that is a BIG if.You like BMW, right?
The Neue Classe platform will use a structural battery pack, ala Tesla. And that's just the start.
Gonna be a pretty neat car!
