CVT Transmission "lugging" or vibrating at idle

Most large I4 engines I've driven shake the entire car at a stop in any drive gear. I'm willing to hear a solution.

The vibrating at idle 4-banger thing seems to be hit/miss amongst all makes/models.

Most GM Ecotec powered vehicles I've driven are very smooth at idle, yet the 1.8L in my Mother's 2008 Pontiac Vibe shakes like a popcorn popper.

I recall the 2.5L in my 1997 Wrangler being rough, but that's a beast of another color.

My Subaru 2.5 idles very smooth, but isn't an I4.

Right click -> save as each PDF into a folder, then use fwd.pdf to navigate.

Nissan actually describes the cooler line exchange method as a method to change the fluid in newer FSMs.

NS-2 fluid is very expensive - $17.27 a quart.

Towncivilian, thanks a million for the link! I've saved all the files and am certain that it'll be a valuable resource in the years ahead.
